BABY SISTERS — CASE STUDY ========================= Redesigning a childcare booking platform to rebuild trust, surface pricing, and unlock a previously excluded B2B segment. Designer: Mila (Camila Levin) — Senior Product Designer Live page: https://milas.world/work/baby-sitters OUTCOMES -------- - +122% customers - 4.8★ average rating - −30% drop-off in the booking funnel PROBLEM ------- The previous flow forced sign-up before pricing was visible and made parents feel locked in before they understood the offer. Drop-off in the booking funnel was high, and trust signals were weak — sitters' profiles, verification, and cancellation terms were buried or missing. APPROACH -------- - Surface transparent pricing up-front, before any sign-up wall. - Rebuild the booking flow around trust signals: verified sitters, clear cancellation terms, real reviews. - Differentiate the two parent needs — regular recurring care and occasional one-off bookings — with dedicated flows instead of one forced funnel. - Open a B2B entry point for corporate childcare benefits, a segment the old product excluded by design. WHAT SHIPPED ------------ - New homepage with clear value prop and pricing visibility. - Redesigned booking flow (occasional and regular) with progressive disclosure instead of a forced wall. - Sitter profiles with verification, reviews, and availability. - B2B landing and entry point for corporate partners. ROLE ---- Lead product designer — research, IX, visual design, and design-system work. Partnered with PM, engineering, and the client's internal team.
